Common questions about subscription plans

What billing models does Joy support?+
Joy supports pay-as-you-go (charge per delivery) and auto-renew prepaid (charge upfront for multiple deliveries). You can offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or custom intervals.
Can I offer trial periods for subscriptions?+
Yes. You can set introductory pricing or free trial periods. After the trial ends, the subscription automatically switches to the regular price.
How do tiered discounts work?+
You define discount tiers based on subscription duration. For example: 5% off for the first 3 months, 10% off after 3 months, 15% off after 6 months. Discounts apply automatically.
Can I import subscription plans from another app?+
Yes. Joy supports bulk CSV import for subscription plans. If you're migrating from Recharge, Appstle, Seal, or any other app, we can help with the migration - free.
Is there a limit to how many plans I can create?+
No. You can create unlimited subscription plans with different products, frequencies, and discount structures.
