1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Joy Subscriptions (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. Joy Subscriptions is operated by Avada Commerce.

2. Description of Service

Joy Subscriptions is a Shopify app that enables merchants to create and manage subscription plans for their products. The App facilitates recurring billing, order management, and customer subscription portals.

3. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and agree to Shopify's Terms of Service to use Joy Subscriptions. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

4. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify's billing system. Transaction fees apply as described on our pricing page.

  • All plans are billed in advance on a monthly cycle
  • Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Transaction fees are charged on subscription revenue earned through the App

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to process transactions for prohibited products or services

6. Intellectual Property

Joy Subscriptions and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by Avada Commerce and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avada Commerce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may terminate or suspend access to the App immediately if you violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
