Can customers swap items in their box after subscribing?+
Yes, up to the cut-off day for each cycle. After cut-off the box is locked for fulfilment.
Do I need separate products for each box variant?+
No. One subscription plan represents the box; eligible items live in your normal catalogue. Joy maps the selection to a Shopify order.
Can I cap how many of one item a customer can pick?+
Yes. Set per-item maximums (e.g., "max 2 of the same SKU") to prevent inventory abuse.
What about fixed-price boxes where contents change?+
Joy charges the fixed box price regardless of underlying item cost — you keep margin consistent even as contents rotate.
Can I show recommended items in the build-a-box flow?+
Yes. Frequently-bought-together suggestions surface inline so customers complete their box faster.
